People imagine the Riviera crowded. Between Toulon and Hyères, it is not. Château de Carqueiranne, a 13th-century house in 8 hectares, is minutes from the sea; it sleeps 50 and hosts up to 180 wedding guests, making it one of the largest venues in our collection. Thirty minutes from Toulon, Château des Trois-Bastides spreads 86 hectares of vines and pine woods around an 18th-century bastide, with two pools, 48 beds and receptions of 60 to 100.
Both are rented for your exclusive use. You have the whole estate; the owners welcome you and leave you the place — which is what sets them apart from the coast’s rental villas and hotels, where you share the pool with strangers. For a wedding, the ceremony is in the grounds, dinner under the plane trees, and everyone sleeps on site.
All around, what visitors ask for here: the Giens peninsula and the Îles d’Or — Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Le Levant — twenty minutes by boat; Hyères and its old town; Bormes-les-Mimosas and Le Lavandou; the vineyards of Bandol and La Londe; Cassis and its calanques an hour away; Saint-Tropez for a day, when the road allows; Mont Faron above Toulon. When to come
May, June and September are the best months: the sea is warm, the roads are clear, weddings get the evening light. July and August for holidays, booked early. Winter is mild: mimosas bloom in Bormes in February, and a January seminar takes its lunch outside.
Getting there
TGV Paris–Toulon in 4 h, then 20 to 30 minutes by car. Toulon-Hyères airport is fifteen minutes from Carqueiranne; Marseille-Provence 1 h 15 away, with many more flights. A car is useful, but the beach is reached on foot or by bike.

Is the beach within walking distance?
From Carqueiranne, yes, a few minutes. From Trois-Bastides, count fifteen minutes by car to the beaches of Hyères or La Londe.
Can we get married on site?
Yes: up to 180 guests at Carqueiranne, 100 at Trois-Bastides, with a ceremony in the grounds and dinner outdoors. Guests sleep at the château — 48 to 50 beds — and the coast has hotels for the rest.
Do we need a car?
For Porquerolles, Bandol or Cassis, yes. We can arrange shuttles for wedding guests from Toulon or the airport.
